Passed away at Freeport Hospital, Kitchener on Tuesday, April 30th, 2019, at the age of 86. 
 
Born February 18th, 1933, in the province of Quebec. Mother to John Parent, Andrew Parent, Lise Haid, Aline Parent, Mariel Davison, Nancie Parent, Michael Williams, Dean Parent, and Stacey Canfield. Proud Grandmother to many grandchildren and great grandchildren. 
 
Marie was a lover of animals, and a very charitable person. After retirement she enjoyed many volunteer positions in the community and was a social butterfly, loved by all.
 
Cremation has taken place.  The family will gather privately, and a public tree planting will occur in her name in September at the University of Guelph.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Kitchener Humane Society in her name.  Messages and condolences may be left at tricitycremations.com or 519.772.1237

Passed away peacefully at St. Lukes Place on Monday, April 29th, 2019, at the age of 73 years.

Lovingly remembered by his spouse Glenda Stagg. Proud step-father of Vivian and Vincent. Sadly missed by his brothers Gary (Val) Rolls, Kevin (Carole) Bonham, Bob and Family, Danny and Family as well as his sister Donna (Norm) Brother in Law Gordon (Linda) Pike, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

James was a proud member of the RCL, Branch 121.

A special thank you to the nurses and staff on the 2nd floor at St. Lukes Place for their compassion and care. Cremation has taken place.

Michael Anthony Suceska

It is with great sadness that the family of Mike Suceska announces his passing after a brief illness, on Thursday April 25, 2019 at the age of 59 years.

Mike will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 40 years Karen, his daughter, Tara (John), his 4 grandchildren, Owen, Olivia, Morgan, and Ella, by his sisters Marilyn (Ches), Nora, Jenny (Anita), Emily and his brother-in-law Bob (Wendy), sisters-in-law Maryke, Dianne (Cliff), Pat (Ron), Annette, and his many nieces and nephews. Mike was predeceased by his brother John and brother-in-law Jerry.

A celebration of Mike Suceska's life will be held on Friday May 10, 2019 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m at Calvary Pentecostal Church, 127 Hespeler Road, Cambridge, ON.

Passed away peacefully at St. Luke’s Place on Sunday, April 21, 2019 at the age of 78.

Lovingly remembered by her son Michael Krupp and her grandson Anthony.  Marilyn was predeceased by her husband of 36 years, Wilfred Krupp, and her sister June Craig (Don). She was daughter of the Late Clare and Marion Pettit.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated.

Our beloved father and friend passed away peacefully on April 20th 2019 at the age of 86 years.

Predeceased by his wife Linda Formhals (2016). He is survived by his son Alex Formhals, daughter Laura Formhals (Iain), Step-daughter Jennifer Robertson (Mark), Step-son Michael West (Sandy). Dear brother to Lilian Evans (Roy). Grandfather to Bramwell Robertson and Jaccob and Kassandra West, Kevin, Sean and Krystal Formhals. Fondly remembered by his extended family and friends. 
 
As per David’s wishes there is to be no formal memorial service and his 4 children will be scattering his ashes at the base of Muskoka River later this year.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society or Rett UK and would be appreciated by the family. Passed away peacefully at Lisaard House on April 16, 2019 in his 63rd year.

Survived by his mother Anne Ellig, his sister, Tammy Harrison (Charlie)  his brother,  Michael
Ellig (Donna) and  he was Uncle  to four nephews and one niece.  Predeceased by his father Jack Ellig (1998).

Special thank you to all of Randy’s caregivers over the past two years.

Leonard (Len) Rach P.Eng.

On Saturday April 13, 2019, Len quietly passed away surrounded by his family at the age of 82 years.
 
Len was born on August 21st , 1936 in Toronto.  He was an Engineer with the City of Toronto for over 25 years.  Followed by a number of consulting positions to finally retire at the age of 80 with 57 years as a Professional Engineer.
 
Loving  father of Lorraine, Michael and Michelle.  Also survived by their mother, Jan Rach. Proud Grandfather of Derek, Yasmin, Lyam and great grandfather of Luella and Robert. He will be sadly missed by many family and friends, especially by Sandra Hill.
 
Predeceased by his parents Serge and Anna Rachuboff.
 
Cremation has taken place.  A celebration of Life will be held on Sunday May 5th from 1 - 3pm in Toronto. Space is limited, for directions please contact Michelle at michellelaura601@gmail.com to receive more details.

Jean Walker

The love of my life passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Morriston Park Nursing Home. She was 79 years young.

Predeceased by too many family and friends – Parents, three brothers, three sisters, many in-laws, her son Peter (1996) and her daughter Julie (1962).

She will be missed by family, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews in the U.K. and U.S. Also my brother David, his wife Trish and Trish’s family in the U.K. Not forgetting her sister Mary and family in New York.

Cremation has taken place, so in lieu of flowers, please donate to your charity of choice.

My special thanks to all the care givers who looked after Jeannie, especially those Angels at Morriston Park Nursing Home for the loving care she received during her time there.

And after 60 years together, I will miss her most of all.

Allen George Bell

Passed away at Sunnyside Home, Kitchener on Wednesday April 10, 2019 at the age of 81 years.

Allen was born in Niagara Falls.  He spent many years suffering from mental health,  heart issues and in later years dementia.  He loved all kinds of sports and cheered on many teams over the years. 

Father of Catherine Kangas (Steve), John Bell (Julie) and Leslie Keller (James). Grandpa of Taylor, Nolan and Lauren Kangas, Cameron, Zachary and Garrett Bell, Andrew (Jacquelyn) and Tyler Keller. Brother of Lorraine Gibson and Jerry Bell.

Predeceased by his parents George and Mildred (nee Place), by his siblings, Joseph, Helen, Betty-Anne and Marilynn.

Special thank you to the Staff of Cider Mill at Sunnyside Home for all the care and compassion given to our father.

Cremation has taken place.  A Private family gathering and interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Donations may be made directly to Sunnyside Foundation as expressions of sympathy.   Messages and condolences may be left at www.tricitycremations.com.

Claire Brown

October 26, 1914 - April 4, 2019

Passed after a brief medical event in Cambridge, Ontario. Claire had just returned from Florida, enjoying the sun, reading, and spending time with son, Stuart and his wife Janet Campbell. Fiercely proud, always caring, and will always be remembered by family and friends. Predeceased by husband Douglas Dean Brown (1981) and daughter Jocelyn Bareich (1995).

Claire was a long-time resident of Cambridge and was quite fond of the friends and acquaintances she made over the past years.

Cremation has taken place, with interment to follow at Twelve Mile Church in Haliburton County this summer.
