Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at the age of 61.

Born in England, daughter of Ian Matthew of Cambridge and the late Sheila (Dowling). Fiona spent most of her life as a teacher in the Waterloo Region.  She gave selflessly to all that were lucky enough to call her friend.

Beloved wife of 35 years to Denis J. Groulx. Loving mother of Chris Groulx and Jake Groulx.
Dear sister of Judith Hamilton (Bob) and Lindsay Hunter (Bill). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Lovingly remembered by Denis’ family.

A memorial visitation will be held at the Dedication Centre at Williamsburg, 1541 Fischer Hallman Road, Kitchener, on Sunday August 19, 2018 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. All are welcome to come and share memories of Fiona.

1946 - 2018
 
The beautiful journey with Bonny has come to a peaceful end. Her wish was granted to be at home on Thursday August 2nd, 2018, she passed away the exact same day as her beloved brother Barry, in 2017. Bonny is on a new adventure painfree, her courageous battle with cancer proves,  strength and support and love is what kept her going.

Devoted loving mother to daughter Tracey (Henri Balcazar). Sister-in-law Helen Arnold forever deeply missed and loved. Predeceased by husband Grant Warner (1996) sister-in law Evi McCorkindale (2010)  by parents, Mary and Bill McCorkindale. 

Bonny touched everyone with her beautiful presence and her sweet smile.

Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held with a celebration of life announced closer to August 2019.

Special thanks to all the sweet angels and the incredible support team of the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre and to the Waterloo Wellington Hospice. Gracie and Anne , thank you and to everyone who does such a caring job. A heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Lana Tan for giving trust to Bonny and especially for your gift of giving so much devotion to both a mother and her daughter.

Special thanks to Bonny’s in home nursing team, Susan your guidance and faithful support from 2016 to present has been exceptional.

To Paula, our golden angel it was a long journey from beginning to end, you knew us best, you are family and we love you.

Peacefully at Lisaard House, Cambridge, on Wednesday August 1, 2018, at the age of 76, with her husband Don by her side.

Born in Toronto, daughter of the late George and Aileen McConaghy. Gina spent her entire career in the airline and travel industry and her work gave her many wonderful lifetime memories. She was an optimistic person, a true friend and companion. Unselfishly generous with her time for a friend or family member in crisis. A quality that was on full display many times in her life.

She will be greatly missed by husband Don of 42 years, mother-in-law Grace, stepdaughter Nicole and family plus many friends and business associates.

A special thank you to the Grand River Cancer Centre and the Palliative Care Team.

Cremation has taken place and at Gina’s request no services will be held.  A gathering of family and friends will be arranged at a later date. Donations may be made to the Grand River Cancer Centre or to the charity of one’s choice. Messages and condolences may be left at tricitycremations.com.

Passed away peacefully at Columbia Forest LTC in Waterloo, on August 1, 2018 at the age of 91.

Edith was born in Montreal on July 10, 1927.  Best friend and loving wife to the late Robert James McGall for fifty years and to the late John Chandler for two years. Loving mother of Carolyn Keirstead, Donna (Steve) Shanks, Robert (Jane) McGall and Bill (Sue) McGall aka The Favourite Son. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Dave (Heidy), Darryl (Helena) and Chris (Anna) Keirstead, Robert (Jennifer), Brent and Brian Shanks, Kevin (Tara), Scott, Sarah and Diane McGall, Cassandra and Tyler McGall. Cherished Great Grandmother (GG) to Jacob, Fiona, Kayla, Maya, Shae and Leah Keirstead and Evelyn McGall.

Mom took great pride in her large family. She will be well remembered for her joyful social spirit and her outstanding sense of style. We will all remember Mom’s love of singing, dancing and her sparkling smile.

A family memorial celebration will be held at a later date.  Special thanks to the staff of Columbia Forest LTC, whose compassion and care during her six years there, created a safe, loving home for Mom.
