Passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Stirling Heights Long Term Care in Cambridge, Ontario.

Loving wife of the late John (Bill) Donnachie. Survived by daughter Barbara Enright (David), son John Donnachie (Lily), granddaughters Rebecca Wood (Ken) and Jennifer Enright (Darryl), grandsons Andrew Donnachie (Mora) and Alex Donnachie (Laura) as well as great granddaughters Arya and Addison.

She was born in Sussex, New Brunswick along with 3 sisters and 4 brothers. She attended Mount Allison University where she received her teachers degree. After the birth of her daughter they relocated to Ontario where she had her son.

She has spend many years volunteering for different organizations. Bill and her were always very involved in their church where she taught Sunday school every week. Her kindness will be missed by many.

Cremation has taken place and a private family memorial will be held.

Any donations can be sent to the Alzheimer’s Society in her honour.

Ava Maria Caza

Ava Maria Caza passed away peacefully on Saturday November 27, 2021 in Kitchener after a brief illness.
 
Ava was born on June 12, 1949 in Halifax, NS. Throughout her life, Ava was many things including a laboratory technician, a loving mother, a loyal friend, and a dedicated partner. Perhaps one of her most cherished roles was that as mother to Arran and Gregory and grandmother to Max, Alex, and Vivienne, all of whom inherited her charm, wry wit, compassion for animals, stubbornness, and levelling glare. Ava loved long walks in nature, suspense novels, board games, and a great cup of tea. She was a stellar conversationalist and will be remembered for her energetic spirit, curiosity, kindness, and sense of humour.  Ava will be deeply missed by many.
 
She is survived by her partner since 2005 Brian Brocklebank, her sons and grandchildren, daughter-in-law Brianna Caza, sisters Linda (Eric) and Susan (Sylvain), in-laws Audrey, Claudia, Antoinette, and Jolene (Howard), and Garth (Amelia) and nineteen surviving nephews and nieces.
 
Ava was predeceased by her husband Bryan Caza, as well as her parents Kenneth and Oriola Golar, sisters Fern and Irma, nephew Bob, and in-laws Melvin (Marguerite), Tony, and Vance.
 
The family wishes to thank the staff at Innisfree House for keeping her comfortable in her final days.
 
Per her wishes, she has been cremated and there will be a celebration of life service held at a later date.
 
In lieu of flowers, charitable donations in Ava’s memory can be made to any cancer charity or local SPCA organization.

It is with great sadness we announce that Vivian Lucy Kennell passed away peacefully, on Sunday November 21, 2021 surrounded by family at Lissard House in Cambridge, Ontario at the age of 92. Predeceased by her husband of 51 years George Mercer Kennell, as well as her parents Delphine & Allan Cooper, Sisters Florance, Dorothy, Myrtle & Lilian, Brothers Jack & Allan and daughter-in-law Jackie.
 
Loving mother to Edward Kennell, Ernie (Janice) Kennell, Marilyn (Gary) Hawco & Wayne (Kim) Kennell.
 
Cherished Grandmother of Vivian (Greg) Snyder, Steve (Gina) Kennell, Laura (Brian) Morrison, Joanne (Mark) Kunkel, Donny Hawco, Joshua Hawco, Christopher Hawco, Kristin (Kyle) Northover, Stefanie Kennell, Jessica Kennell.
 
Great Grandmother to James, William, Jarrett, Evan, Adeline, Ava, Zoey, Hayley, Joshua Jr, Caleb, Benjamin, Ethan, Kara, Leah, Jordan & Ellie.
 
Great-Great-Grandmother to Daxton & Melody.
 
Loving sister to her brother Doug (Joyce) Cooper.
 
Although Vivian Will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends we take great comfort knowing that she was greeted by so many loved ones.
 
The family wishes to thank all of the staff at Lissard House for the wonderful care that they provided her in her final days
 
As per her wishes cremation has taken place and a funeral service will be held at a later date in Newfoundland.
 
As expressions of sympathy In lieu of flowers charitable donations in Vivian’s memory can be made to Lissard House or Buchans United Church Memorial Fund.

Francis (Frank) William McFadyen

​After a long journey with cancer, Francis (Frank) William McFadyen passed away peacefully in his home on November 20, 2021, at the age of 66. He is survived by his spouse, Michele; his children Mike, Shannon (Jay), Carrie (PJ), and Sarah; and his grandchildren, Jamie, Nathan, Branden, Owen, and Allison.
 
A lifelong outdoorsman, Frank was known for his love of hunting, fishing, kayaking, and camping. He loved to share his passions with those closest to him, teaching his children and grandchildren how to appreciate nature and the outdoors. He leaves behind many happy memories of fishing at the cottage, camping in Algonquin, and hunting in Northern Ontario.
 
Frank was a truck driver for over 30 years, travelling across Canada and the United States. He made many friends throughout his travels, and is remembered for his love of Canada and its landscapes.
 
Frank’s sense of humor and many, many stories will be missed by family, friends, neighbours, and the people he met along the way.  
 
The family would like to extend their love and thanks to ParaMed and WWLHIN’s palliative care team. Their support over the past year made it possible for Frank to be comfortable at home.
 
There will be no funeral service, as Frank requested. Cremation has taken place and a private celebration of life will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society is appreciated.

John Norman Deamer

​Passed away peacefully at Freeport Palliative Care, Kitchener on Saturday November 13, 2021 at the age of 83 years.
 
John or Johnny as he was affectionately called was a Ford Motor Co. retiree. He was an Old Timer hockey player, women's hockey coach, an ardent NDP supporter and 3 time candidate. Loved his golf and the 19th hole where they would gather to have a few brew and tell lies. He owned the business “Brew by-U” in Brampton, and after he retired he enjoyed Wasaga Beach summers and Lakeland, Florida winters for over 20 years.  Travelling was also a passion, coast to coast in Canada and from Hawaii to Venezuela with many ports in between, including most of the United States. 
 
Wonderful husband and friend of Donna Deamer (nee Dietrich). Loving father of Lucky Deamer (Robert Johnston), Karen Mather (Patrick), Kim Cook (Jim Small), and step daughter Terri Campbell. Proud *Grumps* to his many grandchildren and great grandchildren and Uncle John or Johnny to many nieces and nephews. Dear Brother of Harry Deamer and Susie Hibbit (Gerald).
 
Predeceased by parents Ernest and Doris Deamer. Predeceased by brother Ronald Deamer and wife Margaret, sister Dianne O'Donnell and husband Barry, stepson Ken Graham and brother-in-law Rick Dietrich.
 
John will be missed by his in-laws Art and Pauline Dietrich, John Dietrich, Bernice Muller (Pat), Art Dietrich (Marion), Dan Dietrich (Mark), and Kathy Darby
 
Cremation has taken place. 
 
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Cancer Society or the Kidney Foundation as expressions of sympathy.

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at St. Luke’s Place.
 
Dearly loved mother of Frances McIlwrath (John), Shirley Burgoyne (Dan, deceased) and Doug (Chris). Predeceased by her husband Gordon (2010). Cherished grandmother of ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She will be missed by her sister Isobel Buchanan (Alan deceased), sister in-law Evelyn McArthur (Russell deceased) and many nephews and nieces
 
Ruth enjoyed many years at St. Luke’s Place. She volunteered in the library and was on the auxiliary. She enjoyed visiting with her friends, reading and doing puzzles. Ruth and Gord made many friends over the 28 years that they stayed at Blue Parrot Camp in Florida. Ruth loved the Lord and throughout the years, she served Him at Forward Baptist Church in the Sunday School, the library, the Women’s Missionary Society and the senior’s group.
 
Special thank you to all staff at St. Luke’s Place for the compassionate care they provided.
 
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

At age 54, after a courageous battle with cancer, Ted peacefully passed away on November 13, 2021.

Ted is survived by his wife Lisa Morrison and stepchildren Brendon and Rayna, his father, Roy Connors, sisters Laura Connors and Joan Thompson (and husband Ben Lasko) and nieces Andrea Thompson and Kimberly Thompson. He is predeceased by his mother, Bernice, and sisters Carol Connors and Linda Vandusen and favorite nephew Jeffrey Vandusen.

Ted, your humour made our moments fun and full of laughter and your Rolodex of information made conversations interesting.

The family would like to thank all the support from his friends, and staff at Grand River hospital and the home care team and palliative team who were exceptional in his care.

Funeral and memorial service will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Cathedral, 472 Richmond St. in London, Ontario, on November 20, 2021 at 2 pm. Family is requesting only double vaccinated people attend. Live stream available at Cathedral website.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society are appreciated.

​Darell Robert Labradore

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Darrell Robert Labradore, 37 of Paris, Ontario.

Born in Lunenburg, NS, he was the son of the late Charles Robert Labradore and Brenda Labradore (George). He is survived by the mother of his children, Erica Spindler, his twin daughters Kadence and Alexa, sisters, Elizabeth (Kenneth) Eye, Deborah Labrador, Doris Labradore and Donna Labradore; brothers, Robert Labradore (Glenna Hemmings), Joseph (Anne) Labradore; brother-in-law Mark as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his sister, Jean, Diane; and brothers, Lester, Charles Jr., and William. He was a member of Acadia First Nation and was proud of his Mi’kmaq heritage.

Darrell loved his twin daughters dearly and made sure everyone knew what a wonderful mother they have. He also had a very close, special relationship with is nieces Amanda and Chelsea. Known for cracking jokes, telling stories and having the gift of gab, his late-night phone calls will be missed by many of his relatives and friends. He had a passion for music and would spend countless hours playing his guitar on video messenger with family and friends from home. He also enjoyed books and reading. As an animal lover, Darrell would often drag home stray cats when he was little. His mom remembers always checking his pockets when doing laundry and finding anything from a toad to a snake. A carpenter by trade, Darrell loved his work and using his hands to create things. He was always taking things apart and tinkering with one project or another, seldom finishing one before starting another.

His family is comforted by the belief that his beloved and recently deceased eldest sister Jean, met him at the beginning of his journey to the Creator on the other side.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no public memorial service. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated by the family.

65 years old of Cambridge passed away peacefully on November 7, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones.
 
Rose was predeceased by Shirley Lamarre (Mother), Arthur Lamarre (Father) and Guy Lamarre (Brother).
 
Survived by her partner Frederick Blackstone. Her siblings Diane (Bob), Denise (Cliff), Claudette (Pat), Bobby (Chris) and Art. Her daughters Wendy (Don), Lynn (Terry), Claudette (Glenn) and Nancy. Rose’s grandchildren Ashley, Kevin, Natasha, Isabella, Brenden, Nathan, Alyssa, Stevie, Mady and Nate.
 
A Celebration of life will be held in Rose’s honor on Saturday Nov. 20th from 1-3 pm at 514 Grand Valley Dr., Cambridge.

Bruce George Kirkpatrick

Today we say goodbye to Bruce Kirkpatrick, Age 54, who passed away unexpectedly on November 4th, 2021.
 
Bruce was born in Fergus, June 1st, 1967. At an early age, he began working for his father, igniting his career and passion as a meat cutter. This was a skill he took great pride in, creating recipes and sharing his work with friends. Bruce enjoyed spending his time with family and friends, joking and laughing with all those around him.
 
He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Jesse Kirkpatrick McKenzie (Danie Wiun), as well as his two grandchildren, Willow and Wesley. Mother; Judy (nee Miller) stepfather; Marty Brenner, stepmother; Bonnie Kirkpatrick, his siblings; Ken Fraser, Brian Kirkpatrick, Donna Garneau  (Denis), Barry Kirkpatrick, Brad Kirkpatrick, Kim Kirkpatrick and Rob Kirkpatrick (Kelli).
 
Predeceased by his father Gordon Kirkpatrick (2021)  
 
He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  
 
Cremation will take place. A private family service will be held at a later date.
 
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society as expressions of sympathy.
