Audrey, born on August 22, 1928 in Ryerson Township, was the youngest of four children. She earned her pharmacy degree from the Ontario College of Pharmacy in 1954. She worked for 15 years as a pharmacist at McVey's Drug Store, then took over the business and renamed it Bishop's Pharmacy in 1969. She enjoyed her work so much that she didn't retire until she was 82. To balance the work she liked to play (the slot machines) at Casino Rama and in Las Vegas. Audrey found pleasure in travelling the world and visited many countries during her lifetime.
She will be lovingly missed by many, including niece; Cathy Lobraico (John) and nephews; Bill Bishop (Emily), Joe Galaski (Jan) and Wayne Borean (Heather). Predeceased by nephews; John Bishop and Rick Galaski (Irene).
Sincere gratitude to the staff of Fairview Mennonite Nursing Home who provided outstanding care to Audrey during her six years as a resident there.
As was Audrey's wish, a private memorial gathering will be held by her family.
