Bonnie S. Maas (née Williamson)

9/27/2018

In her 60th year went home to her Heavenly Father on Thursday September 27,  surrounded by those that loved her.

Loving daughter of the late Gracie (née Vennard) (Dec. 23 1994) and Jack (Jan. 16, 2007) Williamson.

Also predeceased by an older brother Freddie (Dec. 31, 1956) all originally of Port Elgin.  Survived by an older brother Doug Williamson and sister In law Sharron Williamson (née Hyslop) and nephews Jason and James Williamson all of London.  Also survived by her loving and loyal cousins Colin and Nancy McKillop of Windsor.  They were much more than cousins, more like brother and sisters to her.

Special mention to her best friend Nancy Chandler who she met in 1979. Nancy’s children became Bonnie’s substitute children.  Nancy was Bonnie’s “voice of sanity” and her ‘go to’ person.  They may not have been blood sisters but were sisters of the heart.  Nancy took a fresh graduate that thought she knew it all and didn’t realize she knew nothing and showed Bonnie how to be the best nurse possible and continued to mentor her as she grew into a Registered Nurse to be proud of.

Bonnie will be cremated and a private service with only her closest friends will be held at a later time. Messages and condolences can be made through tricitycremations.com.

Hi Bonnie,

It's me. Your ex-husband Blair. I still think of you and on this day November 13th would have been your 62nd birthday.
I spoke with your friend Nancy for 5 hours over French onion soup. We laughed, We cried. We all miss you.
I'm so sorry your life was short. You were a kind hearted, lovable woman. I enjoyed our marriage of nearly 10 years and still think of you from time to time wishing to at least hear your voice and know that you are okay.
I pray that God never leaves your side and that he will comfort you.
Until we meet again Bonnie. Happy Birthday.
