Mother; Judy (nee Miller) stepfather; Marty Brenner, stepmother; Bonnie Kirkpatrick, his siblings; Ken Fraser, Brian Kirkpatrick, Donna Garneau  (Denis), Barry Kirkpatrick, Brad Kirkpatrick, Kim Kirkpatrick and Rob Kirkpatrick (Kelli).

To a great guy Bruce:

I speak as a fellow kindred spirit to a guy who, like me, walked down a path that was (is) filled with hope, love and hardships all of which are tests to our resolve and purpose for being here.

"I didn't know you very well Bruce as we only really knew each other in passing at work and that one day that you had me over for a BBQ! It was a real feast too! Your career as skilled meat cutter and eye for great cuts of meat shone brightly as you gave me a great plate of tenderloin with mushrooms, potatoes and some veggies! It truly showed how much you cared about making others happy, despite the personal cost to yourself."

As for your family and friends you left behind, I can only hope that they have the cherished memories of you at your best; as the proud grandfather to you blushingly boasted to be - but as man who reminded "me" that even though I was going through a tough transition period in my life, I could still laugh and cracked jokes despite feeling sad and uncertain.

RIP Bruce and thanks for the laughs we shared together!

- Tim

In Memory of a Special Brother

Today is full of memories
of a brother laid to rest
and every single one of them
is filled with happiness.

For you were someone special
always such a joy to know
and there was so much pain
when it was time to let you go

That’s why this special message
is sent to heaven above
for the angels to take care of you
and give you all my love
I love you Bruce and I wish I could have found you sooner, but god had other plans! I do believe you are in a better place and you are no longer hurting , but it hurts our family . Please enjoy your time with dad and we miss you both so much! Until we meet again ..love Donna and family!!
