I met Cathy's daughter many years ago in elementary school 🏫. We used to be in the same class. I haven't met Cathy herself as an individual but she looks like a nice lady.

I am so heartbroken and my sincere condolences to the family. Cathy was my boss for a long time but more importantly she was my friend. She helped me through a lot of hard times. I just saw her a couple of weeks ago and was looking forward to our next luncheon. RIP girl you will always be in my heart and my thoughts - hugs

Cathy was a patient, kind and caring leader when I worked with her at the Record. She made time for everyone and made them feel heard and understood. I loved her smile and her love for her family was truly evident. She will be missed and I’ll always remember her fondly.

Saddened and shocked to hear of Cathy's passing. I worked with Cathy for 17 years at The Record. We had so much fun and many laughs. Cathy was always kind, funny, patient, smart and straight forward.
I loved the morning chats, and always smile when I think of the polka dances at Oktoberfest when I would always manage to step on her toes!
God bless Cath and pray for strength for Darcy, Jenn, Jason, Chris and families.

I have so many fond memories of working with Cathy at The Record for so many years. Our breaks and lunches were filled with so much laughter. The joy didn’t end there, even while working (and yes through the boxing week madness) we could always count on Cathy to calm us down. I remember a weekend at the family cottage with some of The Record girls where we laughed the entire time. Darcy, Jason, Chris and Jenn and families, my heart breaks for you and I pray that you find comfort in your many wonderful memories❤️

Cathy and Darcy were always welcoming! Stopping by to see them up north when I was visiting the Doyle’s cottage (Kelly) was always a treat. Thinking of you all as you mourn the loss of a very special person.

Our sincere condolences to Darcy and all of Cathy's family. Cathy was a lovely lady with a beautiful heart and soul. I know from her Facebook posts that she was devoted to her family. Cathy gave the best secret Santa gifts at my sister Susan's (VanSickle) all girls Christmas parties! She will be missed by all who knew her. I'm sure she is reunited with sister Jane. May she rest in peace
