Charles sadly leaves his wife Mary of 53 years and their children Ted (Judi) and Kate (Sean McKillop) but joyfully reunites with his beloved daughter Caroline (Buzzy). He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Ronnie, Caroline and Charlie Brohman and John, Kairie, Cameron (Nieva), Hannah and Caitlin McKillop. His pride in his children and grandchildren was limitless. Charles is survived by his sisters Carolyn Starchuk (late Victor), Marolyn McGinty (Jim Finlayson), Rosemarie Startek (Ron) and brothers Michael, John (Carol), and Christopher (David). He will be fondly remembered as a cherished brother-in-law and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predecessed by his parents Gilbert and Marie (Koehler) Brohman.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
A regional businessman and entrepreneur, Charles launched several initiatives that were decades ahead of his time including Cultures, the first healthy fast food restaurant in KW. He was also a property owner and promoter of the arts, nothing was more important to him than enriching the Waterloo-Wellington community that has been home to his family for five generations.
