Alex, Erica, and Leo. I am truly sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you and your families. I worked with Chris at Sun Life for many years. We stayed in touch as we each moved on to different roles and often met for lunch to catch up. He often talked about his family and how proud he was of all of you. I will miss his sense of humor - he was always a 'breath of fresh air' and always made me laugh. May he rest in peace.

Dear Cornell Family, I'm so sorry for your loss. I got a chance to work with Chris about 8 years ago, and I still remember the day he made me laugh so hard that I cried. It’s with great sadness that I heard of Chris passing. A nice, gentle, compassionate person who shared his love of life, wife and children. We worked together almost 18 years ago, but I cherished the fond memories of humour and kind heart. Rest In Peace Chris.

Dear Cornell family,
I always looked forward to greeting Chris each morning at Sun Life, "Good morning Chris Cornell" (his name required using full first and last names). In return, I received a hearty, "How are you doing Robyn?". Chris was fun to work with and great to talk to. He was definitely a very proud dad and is certainly missed. Please accept my sincere condolences.

My deepest condolences to the Cornell family for the loss of Chris. Chris and I worked together for a number of years sharing many laughs along the way. He had a great way at putting things into perspective that was always welcome when we had to deal with a “Joni moment”. I’ll miss him a lot.
