Thank you for your kind words, Yvonne. It was certainly sad that for the past few years that he was robbed of his memory.Who would have thought that he would reach the age of 102. The photo in the announcement was taken on his 102nd birthday. Take care.

To Casey and Margo's family,
Richard and I send sincere condolances.
We loved our years paddling with Casey and MArgo.
They were delightful and interesting people.
We loved our travels to the Algonquin Inn, games , happy hours....without end!!!1 And of course a little paddling!
I will always remember the Dutch jig Margo and Casey danced one night after dinner, in the lodge.!!
NO ONE COULD top that !!!! Priceless.......
Such a special pair. We loved them both.
May they rest in peace.

Mom and Dad both enjoyed being a part of the "Ancient Mariners". They were certainly a special couple. We always enjoyed having the Club at our Inn. Special memories for sure. Many thanks for your kind message.

Thank you for your kind words and memories of Mom & Dad. They certainly enjoyed their "paddling". It was difficult to watch Dad the past few years as he was robbed of his memory. Did you ever get the demonstration as to how he could put his heel behind his head? He could do this well into his nineties. The photo was taken on his 102nd birthday. Amazing.

I'm so sorry for our loss, he's like my second father. He's happy to join his wife now. There are many, many memories that they are big part of my family. "We begin to remember not just that Casey passed but that he lived. And that his life gave us memories too beautiful to forget" Bless him
Love and hugs to his family.

My deepest sympathy to my good friends Marco and Donna.
I was very sad hearing the sad news of your dads passing.
Many years ago I remember meeting your parents they were so nice to me.
Your dad sure lived a long life.
He came from one of the most beautiful cities in Netherlands I’ve visited. My wife has family there to.
Again my heartfelt sympathy’s to you all.

Thank you for you kind words. Yes, Gouda is a beautiful city. With Dad's failing memory, he often thought he was still there.

My parents, John and Cory Bolle, used to visit your parents many, many years ago and we children would enjoy playing together. I seem to remember Marco the best. Seeing your father's obituary in the newspaper brought back memories of the immigrant family childhood that we had. My parents have been deceased for over 20 years already so seeing your names again is like a leap into another life of long ago. My sympathy to all of you as you take leave of your family Patriarch. Thank you for your message and for thinking of us Our parents remained immigrants until the end. I remember visiting with your family - your Mom had the most wonderful laugh. Mom and Dad enjoyed their relationship with your parents.

Thank you Nellie for your kind words. Wow, 102 years is unbelievable. The photo was actually taken on his 102nd birthday. I too have fond memories of visiting your family's farm. We often go "birding" in the Kramp Rd area and of course any good birder will always check out a quiet cemetery. I think of your Mom & Dad often.

Thank you Dawn for your kind words. 102 years is a long time. The photo was taken on his 102nd birthday. Over the past few years, Dad, was robbed of his memory. Surprisingly, he still remembered my name although he sometimes could't figure out just exactly how I fit in. I think of your family often. The military family never goes away.
