David grew up on the family farm in Pulp River, Manitoba. Following high school he moved west to Alberta and worked on the oil rigs for 6 years before returning to Manitoba for a few years. After that he moved to Ontario and lived in Kitchener for a while before settling in Cambridge. He spent many years trucking. David loved studying and learning. His studies and interests included organic agriculture and soil chemistry, natural health, human body chemistry, philosophy, religious and spiritual teachings.
David was predeceased by his parents, Michael Pelly and Irene Pelly (nee Clouson), and sisters-in-law Lucia and Kandace.
Left to mourn are his brothers, Emmett, Manuel (Charlene), Marvin (Cheryl), Melvin, Arnold and sister, Evangeline (Bill) as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no service. A private interment will be held at a later date.
Donations may be made to a charity of choice as expressions of sympathy.
