The world lost a strong, courageous loving woman. Surrounded by family, Deb lost her battle with cancer Thursday April 7th, 2022.

Deb always had a smile so you couldn’t help but smile with her. Deb was greatly loved by her husband Peter, her children Jackie, Brett and Bil (Natasha) and by her grandchildren; Abigale (Alex) and Emily.

Let’s not forget her siblings who she loved so much Bob, Sharyn, Pat, Cathy, Tom (Sherri), Bill (Deb) and Rick (Sue).

Predeceased by her parents Ken and Lyla Prior (nee Gallagher), by her son Brett and by her sister Sharyn.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Wellington or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.  A private ceremony with family has been held.

Messages and condolences may be left for the family at www.tricitycremations.com or 519.772.1237. Please visit Debra's obituary notice on Facebook.

Dear Peter & family, SO sorry to hear about the passing of Deb! (I know it has been a long time since we last met & had so much fun.) Remembering all of our happy times, through baseball etc. Deb & I actually went a long way way back---through her Aunt Jayne Prior/our dancing & baton teacher & great friend. Deb always carried that great smile & Peter you with your sense of humor. We hope you can continue on with her smile & your laughs. Our sincere thoughts & prayers are with you all!

It was with sincere sadness that I read the passing of Debbie. We were childhood friends on Wellington Street and I knew her and her siblings well. We played school, twirled batons and hoopla hooped on the street together. My condolences to you and all the Prior family.
