She had a degree from the Municipal College Burnley and here in Canada honours degree in Purchasing from Ryerson Polytechnical Institute.
Edna loved to knit, it was her passion. We all have sweaters, hats, mitts and she gave many to friends as well. We were all amazed how she could watch tv and not look at her knitting or the pattern.
She was a long time member of KW Musical Productions, while Dad was on stage singing she was the ticket manager and helped behind the scenes.
Edna was a member of St Anthony Daniel Parish since 1981.
Edna and John spent many happy years in the winter months in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and she even continued to go for a few years after Dads passing.
Cremation has taken place. As per Edna’s request there will be no visitation or funeral. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Woodland Cemetery in Kitchener.
A very special Thank you goes out to the staff, nurses, doctors and especially the personal support workers at Caressant Care Fergus. They were wonderful to Mom and she was very happy there up to her passing.
