Liz lit up every room she walked into with her radiant smile, big laugh and zest for life.
She was born on October 31st, 1953 in Beocin, in the former Yugoslavia to Gojko and Elizabeth Josimovich. She came to Canada at age 9 to escape the communist country.
After a strong and courageous battle with cancer, she passed peacefully surrounded by family on September 21st, 2019 at Innisfree Hospice. Survived by her partner Claude Cloutier, daughters Mel McKenna (Mike) and Nicole LeBlanc (LeBaron), son Mark Temple, sister Vera Nentwig (Keith), brothers Alexander Josimovich and Johann Karasi (Inga), former husband Peter Temple, grandchildren Molly McKenna, Chloe and Clara LeBlanc, and all of her nieces and nephews.
Liz worked for Canada Revenue agency for 30 years and was the nicest tax collector that you could ever meet. She was a skilled golfer and lover of music. This was evident in her volunteerism with the Kitchener Blues Festival, being recognized this year with the Phil Bast Media Award.
Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life Open House will be on Sunday October 27th from 1 - 6pm at the Rhapsody Barrel Bar.
