A lifelong outdoorsman, Frank was known for his love of hunting, fishing, kayaking, and camping. He loved to share his passions with those closest to him, teaching his children and grandchildren how to appreciate nature and the outdoors. He leaves behind many happy memories of fishing at the cottage, camping in Algonquin, and hunting in Northern Ontario.
Frank was a truck driver for over 30 years, travelling across Canada and the United States. He made many friends throughout his travels, and is remembered for his love of Canada and its landscapes.
Frank’s sense of humor and many, many stories will be missed by family, friends, neighbours, and the people he met along the way.
The family would like to extend their love and thanks to ParaMed and WWLHIN’s palliative care team. Their support over the past year made it possible for Frank to be comfortable at home.
There will be no funeral service, as Frank requested. Cremation has taken place and a private celebration of life will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society is appreciated.
