Passed away peacefully at Lisaard House on Thursday July 6, 2023, at the age of 59. Born in Montreal to parents William (2012) and Elizabeth (2014) Clarke. Son in law to Denis (2016) and Helen (2015) Chopping. Beloved husband of almost 38 years to Laurna Chopping-Clarke. Loving father of Jason, Holly (Grant), and Christian. Proud Pop of Kingsley and Strummer. Brother to Steven Clarke. Brother-in-law to Delene, Sandra, Ruth Chopping (Greg), and Dina Clarke. Uncle to Jamie Chopping-Lawlor, Stephanie and Kimberly Clarke. Glenn will be deeply missed by his Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends.

Special thanks to all the compassionate care providers who walked alongside us on this journey; PSWs, Two Rivers Family Health, Lifemark Physiotherapy, Cambridge YMCA, Hespeler Pharmacy, Palliative Care Team, CMH, and the Lisaard House staff. Also to the special family and friends who supported Glenn and I, our sincere gratitude.

In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lisaard House.

As per Glenn's wishes we request family and friends to drop in for a time of fellowship, coffee and refreshments and to share fond memories. Wearing your favourite sports jersey or band shirt would make Glenn smile. Please join us on Saturday August 12, 2023 from 10 am - 1 pm at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 73 Queen Street E, Cambridge, ON N3C 2A9.

I am so sorry to hear about Glenn's passing. I meet Glenn at physio,, and since we were both early birds we would have group chats with Cindy. I then had to change my day but missed having my chats with Glenn and was asking about him. To Glenn's family I am so sorry about your loss...may you hold all the wonderful memories you shared close to your heart and may they help you in this most difficult time

Dear Jay and family
Our sincere condolences to you and your family.
Unfortunately we never had the opportunity to meet Glenn, but we've heard many nice things about him from Jay.
Glenn must have been an amazing Dad, as Jay is one of the sweetest, kindest guys we've ever met.
May the love of family and friends see you through the difficult days ahead.

We never had a chance to know Glenn but, we know he was an amazing man that will be missed. He has raised a wonderful family who we are so lucky to know.

I am so sorry for your loss. I met Glenn at the Y, we worked out together with all the other warriors. He was very motivated and motivating and always made us laugh.
Again, sorry to hear about this huge loss.

Dearest Glenn, It’s not a goodbye, it’s a see you later. You will forever be missed and the legacy of Glenn Clarke will live on forever. Thank you for all the laughs and sometimes cries, we all love you and will miss you dearly. Dear Clarke family,
I am so sorry to hear of Glenn's passing.
We were in the same class at the YMCA and being similar in age as well as recovery, we would often chat and I would look to him for advice and insight.
I was shocked to hear that he had passed away. I had not been "attending" the virtual class recently due to a conflict in my schedule so I hadn't seen Glenn for awhile and was planning to give him a call to say hello until I received the email about his passing.
Take care and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this time of sorrow and loss.
