As a proud WWII veteran, she arrived at Pier 21 Canada in June 1946 as an English war bride. She and Don then settled in Galt (now Cambridge) to raise their family.
A talented seamstress, she created many beautifully detailed wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, figure skating costumes as well as clothing for family and customers, many of whom also became friends.
She loved animals, especially her many beloved dogs, and was a longtime member, competitor and trainer with Centennial Dog Obedience Club, where she developed many strong friendships.
Gardening was a favourite past-time and her gardens at her homes in Cambridge and Puslinch Township gave her many hours of pleasure.
Beloved wife of the late Donald Harriss (2003). Loving mother of her three daughters: Judith (Jack) Cullaton, Diana (Tom) Rajnovich and Anne (Don) Hulley. Cherished Grandmother of Jenny Cullaton (Brad Hughes), Nick (Julie) Cullaton, Beth Rajnovich (Chris Redekop), and Great Grandmother of Ben and Megan Hughes.
