Helen loved to laugh. She also very much enjoyed her china painting and learning new things – especially how things work and are made. Her inquiring mind no doubt played a big part in keeping her mind surprisingly sharp.
Special thanks to Dr. Casey, Dr. Decarolis, Dr. Coyn, the staff and volunteers at Trinity Village Studios for their kindness and compassionate care as Helen’s care needs increased and to Innisfree House staff for providing comfort in her final days.
Cremation has taken place. At her request, a small private family service has been held.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Trinity Village Studios (Lutheran Homes), Innisfree House, the Hospice Waterloo Region or a charity of choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
