You know how they say that everyone enters your life for a reason? I wholeheartedly believe that to be true. I have met some of the most amazing people who will have a lasting impact on my life. Each person has contributed to who I am in some way, shape, or form, and for that I am grateful. There are certain people,
though -- the ones who have a very special place in your heart. The ones you will never forget and can't thank God enough for crossing your paths.
Irene was that special person. A great friend. A strong and direct person, real, bold, driven, hardworking, logical and exceedingly honest because she cared. A loyal friend and great listener. She had wonderful intuition about anyone and anything and would speak her mind with honesty. She was a devoted Wife, a loving Mother and Nana, and an extremely trusted friend. Farewell our dear angel. You will forever and always remain in our hearts.

Kevin, our deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. We are truly sorry for your loss. Irene will be deeply missed and she will never be forgotten. May her soul Rest In Peace.

Blessings, Ross and Karin McGeoch...xxx

Kevin,
We are thinking of you during this difficult time. The poem below has brought us great comfort over the years. We hope it will do the same for you and the boys. Look after one another.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

Heather and Don

Dear Kevin and Family:

There are never words that seem to convey the sentiments I feel when a friend has lost a loved one. "I'm sorry" doesn't seem enough and other phrases seem rather hollow. But know that I am thinking about you and your sons and their families as you experience the grief and sadness you much be feeling right now. Know also that I am extending a big embrace to add to your strength as you travel this road. With sincere condolences,

Douglas

I had the opportunity to work with Irene "Mrs Fox" for almost 10 years. She was an amazing nurse, so good to her residents. I'll miss accidentally meeting up with her walking in Riverside park and boosting her car.
