Kim Christensen, 71, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday October 9, 2018.
Born in London, Ontario to Jean & Jesse Christensen, he married wife Sylvia (Olsen) and lived half his life in London before moving to Kitchener.
Kim was an extremely loving Dad to two daughters, Sonja Christensen of Kitchener and Heidi Christensen and her husband, Scott McCarthy of Waterloo. Kim was a very proud Grandpa to Anders. He is also survived by his mother Jean (Gibson) Christensen of London, brothers Bob Christensen (Mary Jane) and Glen Christensen (Jane) of Cambridge, father in-law, Willy Olsen, sister in-law, Monica (Olsen) Clark, brother in-law, Eric Olsen (Lori), many cousins, aunts and uncles and his nephews and nieces who laughed at his terrible jokes. Predeceased by his father, Jesse Christensen and his mother in-law, Hanni Olsen.
Kim will be missed by his friends at the Golden Triangle Marine Modelers and the sailors at Wellesley pond and his special buddies, Woody & Schnitzel.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
