Passed away at home at the age of 33. Cause of death was Sudden Unexpected Death In Epilepsy (SUDEP).

Beloved son of Sandra (deschamps) McMahon and Raymont (Peanut) McMahon.
Will be missed by his Uncle Dennis, Aunts Heather and Janice and his cousins Ami (Mike Dobbs) Jessica, Melissa, Kurtis, Kyle, Samantha and Catherine. Predeceased by his Grandparents Leo and Pat Deschamps and his uncles Larry and Tim.

Kris lived the last 15 years with debilitating, drug resistant epilepsy. From 2002 to 2017 Kris had seven near death experiences, thousands of seizures, hundreds of concussions and accomplished incredible things.

Over the past two years (2014 - 2016), Kris realised his goal of building a digital recording studio (High Street Studios: hydrainc.ca). He was recording and producing his own music. He pushed himself daily to be positive, productive and to always stay focused. Kris was a phenomenal, self-taught musical genius who played drums, guitar and sang.

Kris will be remembered for his music, his quick sarcastic humour, his practical jokes and his love of playing pool.

Donations to Epilepsy Canada would be appreciated.

Sandra and Ray would like to thank everyone who came to the house to share Kris’s memorial with them. We had a PJ party and pool tournament with subs and a musical jam.

With love, laughter and tears,
Sandra and Ray McMahon

Oh Kris, I still remember when we were younger and we came for a visit and you serenaded us with Randy Travis songs and then we went and saw Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles... RIP your (second) cousin Jennifer

Oh Kris. Thank you for inspiring me to play music. I will never forget our chats, how you made me laugh harder than anyone, and your sensational drum playing. RIP my friend. Xoxoxoxo

Dear Sandra and Family,
Our deepest sympathies are extended to you upon the sudden passing of Kris. He will always have a special place in our hearts and may the following poem remind you of him.
And if I go, while you're still here,
Know that I live on, vibrating to a different measure-behind a veil you cannot see through.
Your will not see me, so you must have faith.
I will wait the time when we can soar together again, both aware of each other.
Until then, live your life to its fullest.
And when you need me, just whisper my name in your heart,
I will be there.
Sincerely,
Brenda, Myke and Val

So sorry to hear about Kris' passing. He was a good friend back in high school and we had a lot of great times together from partying to jamming to just hanging out. He had an awesome sense of humour and could always make me laugh. I'll miss you buddy! RIP

So sorry to hear this. This broke my heart. He was my brother growing up and you guys were my second family. I'll never forget him. I regret our lives took separate paths and I truly miss him. I wish I had the pleasure of knowing the man he became. Sandra, I'd love to come see you some day. I've included my email... please get in touch when you're ready. RIP my brother.

So sorry for your loss. Kristopher and my son Derek were class mates at St. Joseph School in Port Elgin. I knew that Kris had not been in good health for a long time. May he find the Peace in Heaven that he never found in good health on Earth.

Dear Sandra and all of Kris's family. I was so sorry to learn of Kris's untimely death. I taught Kris in grade 1 at St. Joseph's school. He was such a fun loving young man and readily engaged in conversation. I enjoyed having him in my class. May your memories and the love of family and friends bring you comfort now and in the days ahead. Sincerely, Barb Fitzsimmons
