It is with heavy hearts we announce that our son, Kurt Willem Padaric, passed away peacefully at the age of 29 years. He died at his Kitchener home on January 3, 2022. Kurt was the beloved son of Christine (Lyons) and Klaus Padaric and best friend and older brother to Austin (2013) and Zsa Zsa his furbaby. Loved grandson of Heidi and Eric Padaric of Kitchener, and Joan Lyons of Windsor/Grand Bend. Also lovingly remembered by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Predeceased by his grandfather Edward Lyons, his uncle Eric Padaric, and his brother Austin.
Kurt was a kind and gentle soul with an incredible sense of humour. He had a passion for music, art, books and animals. His favourite places to be were the family cottages on the Bruce Peninsula where Kurt enjoyed fishing with his Dad, eating his Oma’s schnitzel, creating art with his Mom, hanging out with friend Andrew, and throwing a ball endlessly for his dog Zsa Zsa. He also loved his job as a Peer Support Worker at Sanguen Health Centre where he was able to share his incredible qualities, talents and compassion with everyone. We will be having a Celebration of Life on Saturday, May 14, 2022, four days following Kurt’s 30th birthday. The Celebration will be held at Williamsburg Cemetery, 1541 Fischer Hallman Road, Kitchener at 1 pm. Kurt will be laid to rest with Austin. In lieu of flowers we ask that you consider a donation in Kurt's memory to his employer and support provider Sanguen Health Centre Foundation, details can be found on Sanguen’s website or through the Gofundme website and search on Kurt’s name.
