Larry, your sudden passing leaves so many of us in shock. Luckily, I have many childhood memories of our time of Santamonica to cherish and reflect back on. Your house and car door was always open for me. Every Saturday morning you or Linda would drive me to bowling. I wasn't the best, but you always kept track of every score, encouraged me, and congratulated me when I had a high score game. I received one trophy and I remember you presented me it at a banquet. You took me rifle shooting, apple picking and more excursions than I can remember. My greatest memory is how you'd pick me up and swing me around, threatening to throw me on your roof. You loved messing around with us neighbourhood kids. You shared your empty pop bottles. You would tie our shoe laces and throw them down your lawn. Man, those were the best of times. You will always be a part of my life. Until our spirits meet again...thank you for all that you did for everyone. Darlene

Larry was a great man with a big heart. He loved to tease and torment (in a fun loving way) those he liked and cared for. Our hearts are breaking for his family and friends. He will always have a special place in our hearts. He will be missed but never forgotten. Thoughts and prayers are with the Stevenson family.

Remeber all my years at YBC and Larry was always be there to encourage you. Helped keep me focused. Made it to several tournaments with him egging me on. Never forget Brimley Bowl. Always joking and bugging all in fun. Sorry for the families loss.

Larry was always kidding with me. Everytime he saw me at Brimley Bowl/C4 Centre, he greeted me with "What, you again!" or "What are you doing here now?". He was a wonderful man, with a great sense of humour and lots of encouragement for everyone. I will miss seeing his face when I walk into C4 Centre now and will probably find myself looking for him. Condolences to his wife, Linda, and the rest of the family. Rest In Peace Larry.

You always had a joke to tell. The first time I met you all I thought to myself was this guy seems so cranky and wanted to avoid you. By the end of the day I learned never judge a book by it's cover. You always said to me. Oh great you again every time you seen me. Even locked me out of Bromley/c4 a few times. Then said oh wait I need you here would grab me and rush me in the alley. Every time I bowled you would always tell me you're pretty good for a girl but you bowl like a turtle in a girdle. Making me bowl even better. When my brother died you were there for my family and I with your hugs and you were so understanding. You always had a joke to tell, a story and a hug to give. When you found out I donated 80 soccer balls to the kids in my community you came up to me and gave a big hug and said thank you. Larry you had a heart of gold and touched so many people's lives. Life will not be the same with out you. My condolences to the family from the Macneall family.

RIP Larry. I remember Larry when I started YBC. He took me under his wing coaching me, helping me to improve while still having fun. He always made me laugh with his great sense of humour. Even when I was older and on the money league, Larry was still there to give pointers. He and Linda were a great pair and amazing with us kids through the years at Brimley. My condolences to Larry's family. He will be missed.
