Condolences to the Debruin family from me and my children. Margo Debruin was simply "tante Go" to me. She and Casey sponsored my parents when we came to Canada in 1966 and housed us for 3 months, with love and patience. I'll be forever greatful to the both of them.

Marco's Mom was great. We could play loud music in the basement without complaints and she always had an ample supply of tasty treats for us. ( us being Marco and his friends ). Many other memories are still with me.

When we joined the Ancient Mariners Canoe Club in 1999 Margo and Casey were still active members. On winter hikes when we walked together I learned so much from them about what life was like in German occupied Holland during the second world war. And they were great paddlers, never once tipping in all the years they were in the club. We enjoyed meeting Sylvia when we went to the Algonquin Inn with the canoe club. Our hearts go out to all the family at the loss of your mom and grandma.
