Surrounded by family and friends, Marian passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 30, 2020.

She will be sadly missed by her husband Alex G. Kalmar, son Alex S. Kalmar and daughter -in-law Nicole and granddaughter Abigail, daughter Amy-Marie Kalmar and son-in-law Brennan Clarkson and granddaughters Keira & Braelyn. We will forever remember her beautiful smile that would light up a room and her infectious laugh that always caught everyone's attention.

Many thanks to the home care nurses, PSW's and Palliative doctors for their care and compassion during recent months.

At Marian's request, there will be no funeral services and cremation will take place. Celebration of life will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Kitchener Humane Society would be appreciated.

my condolences to the Kalmar family. Marion will be missed as a wonderful friend and mother/wife. She truly was a gem in our lifetime. I am so glad to have known her .

My heartfelt condolences to Alex and family. Marian was a special lady. She was fun-loving, vibrant, and had an infectious laugh. Marian was also very kind and so very caring of others. As a friend and neighbor, she will be sorely missed. I am very blessed to have had Marian in my life.

Marion enjoyed, with great pleasure, gathering friends and family for a meal and a glass of wine. She was a most generous lady, sharing leftovers, plants, or anything she had extras of. Our Muskoka Marian will be missed by our family so deeply. She was our shining star with so much love compassion wit strength...too many wonderful qualities to mention.
