Memories we have of Marlene, we were friends at First Mennonite Church as teenagers. When we were dating our husbands we double dated by roller skating, canoeing at Victoria Park, window shopping Sunday afternoons after church. The guys had go-carts so we went to Ipperwash driving along the beach. Such fun. Boating at New Dundee at your grandparents cottage. Winter, skating at the same park. We both got married in 1960, John and I in Feb and
Marlene and Willard in Oct, We enjoyed our double dating for many years. Then the children came. Marlene and I had wonderful lunches, one stands out in my memory so such. It was a special one, and your Dad asked Mom how she wanted to spend her birthday and she said go for Chinese food with Marilyn. We laughed so much. Another memory is the year they went to Newfoundland she took my birthday card with them so I would get it on my birthday which is July 21. Marlene had the sweetness of her Savior Jesus ,and she will be missed very much. Love to all Marilyn and John Schuller
