It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Noah Kienapple, from Meningococcal Meningitis, on Tuesday, October 15, at St. Mary’s General Hospital in Kitchener at the young age of 21 years.

Noah is the beloved son of Allison Stevens and Todd Kienapple, cherished brother of Mckayla Kienapple (Randy Paterson) and loving boyfriend of Christina Deligianis. Proud grandson of Ruth Stevens and Larry Kienapple (Alice). He will be sadly missed by his many uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, coaches, teachers and colleagues. Predeceased by his adoring grandparents, Grandma Brenda (née Schilling), Grandpa Walter Stevens; and by his great grandparents and his German Shepard, Hooch.

He attended Northlake Woods Public School and graduated from WCI. He attended Conestoga College for a short time and got hired at Dean Lane Contracting as an apprentice. He loved working for Dean Lane and talked about work frequently.

As an avid hockey player, sports and fitness enthusiast, Noah was involved with Waterloo Wolves Hockey (AAA, AA, MD), WCI Hockey Team, Spring Ice Hockey, KW Ball & In-Line Hockey, as well as Team Ontario for Ball Hockey and his Paris Pick-Up Hockey League. Friends and family were a huge part of his life and he will be fondly remembered by many. He touched many lives with his compassion, love and generosity. His larger than life personality will be greatly missed.

A very special thank you for the overwhelming generosity of those who have contributed to the GoFundMe page. The outpouring of love, kind words and support are genuinely appreciated by Noah’s family. We especially would like to thank the staff of St. Mary’s Hospital, for their care and compassion towards our family during Noah’s brief and sudden stay.

Cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held at Williamsburg Dedication Centre. A Celebration of Noah’s life will take place on Saturday, October 26, from 1 – 6 pm at the Embassy Hall – Bingemans, 425 Bingemans Centre Dr., Kitchener, ON N2B 3X7. Family and friends will speak at 3:30 pm.

Messages and condolences may be left at www.tricitycremations.com or 519.772.1237.  Please visit Noah's obituary notice on Facebook.

I'm so sorry for your loss. In the short amount of time I had gotten to know Noah he was always very kind, and very accepting, always welcomed me into their home or peeked over the fence to say "hello neighbour". The mother in me loved to bring over meals and treats for Noah and Christina... Noah loved my spicy dishes! Noah and Christina were so very in love and their love shined so bright you could see it for miles. They had something really special, something I have never witnessed in my entire life, especially for a couple so young. They gave me hope that true love does exist and I thank them for that. I will miss our "hey neighbour" over the fence or in the front yard and our random beers and chats. Im sure you're looking down on all of us with your grandparents by your side that you spoke so highly of.
Fly high Noah ❤️

To everyone who loved Noah greatly we give our deepest condolences. Our son's played hockey together one year and we cannot imagine the pain of your loss. We would have attended memorial but were away and just read the obituary on our return. Susan, Paul and John Raymond
