Bob was my friend, we had an instant connection & I was honoured to be his friend:)🩷 He reminded me so much of my Poppie, whom I lost in my arms 15 years ago so as not only did I love Bob & his sweet personality but he was helpin me heal from that just by being himself, and he didn't even know it🖤 Everytime I saw him at Urban Hope he had the hugest most loveable smile on his face & open arms with the most gynormous hugs!! The second last time I saw him he was wearin a teal green plaid shirt ... I told him how great it looked on him, he of course smiled & told me he didn't really like it but thank u. I was like ohhh I love it it's one of my fav colours! So he said 'tell ya what Sherry, next time I come i will try to remember to bring it and u can have it!" I told him it reminded me of my poppie he wore those kinda all the time:) than he said and I will wear another one and than u can wear this one & than we can take a pic together! I'm huge on pics so we opted to wait til he brought the shirt in for our selfie...I wish I hadn't waited and just went with it, so not like me to wait til next time person. I guess we won't get that selfie, which makes me really sad, but I will always have the picture of his smile & hear his voice with the all the words we spoke tucked away safely in my heart🖤 Especially the last ones...we never left, or met each other at urban without biggg hugs, and I love you's! His last words to me were..."Ur a sweetheart Sherry, don't ever change!" U have the biggest heart ever, never ever lose that! Be safe, keep smilin always! Cya soon...I love you!" Mine were very similar to him with how sweet he was and how much he meant to me...and an "I love you right back Bob & some!" ...I can't believe he's gone, my heart is pretty broken...but I do know he's with God & I will see him again one day!🩷 Heaven must be even more beautiful since he arrived! I miss him...I'm so blessed that God gave me my friend~he is forever etched in my heart!🖤 He was such a beauuuuuutiful person! The earth was a better place with him here, and my life was super Blessed by him!🩷I will miss all his beautiful smiles & awesome hugs...and all his love & encouragement but I will truly treasure them in my heart always~like I will him:)🩷 Sendin love to each of his family & friends that are feelin his loss~cuz it sure is a huge one! My thoughts & prayers are with each of you🖤 Watch over us Sweet Angel~I love u Bob! Thank u for bein my friend!🖤 You my friend are Forever Loved & Cherished!:))🩷 Sendin big hugs & kisses and loadssss of love up to Heaven....Ready? ...Set?....Caaaaatch!:)🖤🩷

It was with shock and sadness that we at Arkell United church heard of Bob's passing. He led a Bible study here for several years and we learned so much about the scriptures. He was very knowledgeable and welcomed discussion and sometimes when we questioned him, he was so gracious. He certainly enjoyed the treats that we all shared. Rest in peace, Bob. Condolences to his sons
and their families.
