With great sadness we announce the passing of our father Reginald Spooner age of 83 peacefully at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital November 3 in the early hours.
He was a kind, loving, compassionate man, who will be greatly missed by friends and family.
Predeceased by wife Ruth, brother Jim and sisters Doreen and Helen. He will be deeply missed by his loving children Janet (John) Pallottini, Richard Spooner, Susan Davis, Sue (John) Marrow and grandchildren Shannon, Tabitha, Thomas (Lindsay), Enard (Cass), Dan and Denise. Great-grandchildren, Emma, Summer, Iris and Kayle, and sister Wilma Salter and nieces and nephews.
He loved the outdoors, hunting, snowmobiling, bowling and bingo. He was a long time member of the Preston Legion and a great dog lover.
A special thanks to the Med B staff and doctors at the CMH Hospital for the care and compassion they gave our father. It was greatly appreciated.
He will be cremated and his ashes will be placed with his parents at the Mountview Cemetery. An interment ceremony will follow with family. Celebration of life will be held at the Preston Legion Sunday, November 7th from 1-4.
