I was sorry to hear of Bruce's passing today. We met at Waterloo II when my sister was a resident there and he always seemed quite pleasant. May God strengthen and comfort you as you deal with his loss.

Julie, Tom, Debbie, family and friends of Bruce, I'm so sorry to hear of Bruce's sudden passing. Bruce was such a great guy. We enjoyed many good times together. I always enjoyed putting on a tie (& helping Bruce with his) and having meetings. We needed coffee, paper, pen, perhaps a newspaper and about twelve and a half seconds. Bruce will be missed by many many people. Praying for many vibrant and happy memories amongst the tears and sadness. Until we meet again, my friend!

Sincere sympathy to Bruce's family and the group home. At Pride Stables, Bruce was assigned to be my rider last fall. He was such a joyful person, thrilled with being able to ride Cody. Always an engaging talker, Bruce let us know throughout the hour ride that he looked forward to or had recently enjoyed family time. And although he liked riding, he was obsessed with being able to go to Tim's or McDonalds following the ride. Every time we rode past the group home worker, Bruce would remind the worker that they were going out after the ride. He sure put a smile on our faces!

My thoughts and prayers to the family and friends of Bruce. He only knew me as Santa Claus. For the last several years, I’ve had the pleasure of being the man in red and participating with the special Christmas event at Waterloo Christian Reform Church. Bruce was there with many others who were full of the Christmas spirit. Bruce however, stood out! He was thrilled and would run up to Santa and with the most genuine and kind enthusian and give his gentle embrace. When it came time for Santa to leave, again he was there with his embrace. Every year, I’ve always looked forward to his joyful presence. It is a blessing to have known Bruce.
