Such a beautiful soul. I'm so thankful for the time spent with Bob. He had a love of life and most especially the people in his life. I know this because I enjoyed listening to his interesting stories/memories. Stories about his adventures as a young boy, fishing in the beautifull northern rivers ... and when he was older, with a family of his own he told me how much he enjoyed his weekend tradition of sitting pool side reading the paper, then firing up the bbq and grilling up a little of everything. He told me he LOVED to cook ... and had more than a few ear marked cook books ... so many great memories! He certainly was loved ... this was evident in the care and devotion of his children right until his last breath. Bobby and Maryann, thank you for being the family you are! You certainly had a great role model ❤

I had the privilege to spend the last few weeks with Bob, attempting to help make his time as peaceful as possible under the circumstances. Bob enjoyed company and loved people. Bob and I hit it off, he was happy I was his friend and so was I. I also made friends with Bobby and Marianne, Bob's wonderful son and daughter. I am happy that Bob is now free of pain and anxiety and reunited with the love of his life, Dyan. Peace and love to you all.

Thank you so much. We are so grateful you came into our lives and took such great care of our dad. It’s odd not talking to you every day. You are a kind, gentle soul.

He was a fine brother. All his life he protected and cared for people. Family was the most important thing in Bob's life. He had a tremendous sense of humour that was often on display and he was a champion beer drinker. I owe him many things I could never repay. I'm so glad I got to say goodbye. Going to miss you buddy.
