Bob was a dedicated family man, a former long-time employee of Waterloo North Hydro, a pioneer contributor to the Wonders of Winter Lights Festival, and an avid golfer.
Bob will remain forever in the hearts of his wife, Nancy (Coughlin), and his sons, Glen (Shelley) and Scott (Allison). He was sadly predeceased by Glen and Scott’s mom, Joan (Fox). Bob will also be fondly remembered by Nancy’s children, Chris Coughlin (Lori) and Jenn Hesson (Garrett).
When he wasn’t on the golf course, he loved watching his grandchildren’s sporting events, and over many years, he rarely missed a game. His grandchildren, Madison, Josh, Nicole, Ryan, Cameron, Taylor and Nolan will miss their most treasured fan.
Bob is survived by his brother, Ronald Schindler (Pauline). He was predeceased by his parents, Edna and Gordan, as well as his infant brother, Kenneth.
After cremation, Bob will be interned during a private ceremony at Parkview Cemetery in Waterloo. His family and friends are invited to Celebrate his Life on September 17th, from 1-4 p.m., at the Royal Room of Golf Steakhouse (598 Lancaster Street, Kitchener), a place where many family memories were made.
