Sheila Sellick of Cambridge passed away peacefully at home on July 18th.

Born to George and Grace Maguire on Nov 9th, 1953. Predeceased by her partner and true love Phil Desjardins. Sheila will be greatly missed by her sons Shawn (Roxanne) and Victor (Judy) Sellick.

Beloved grandmother to Taylor, Natosha, Nathaniel, Ethan, Caleb, Deakon & Autumn. She was especially proud to be a great grandma to Aniya, August, Coleden and Zion.

Predeceased by her sister Doreen. Sheila is survived by her siblings Jackie, Fred and Robert and soul sister Sharon.

She will be forever missed by all and is now dancing away with loved ones previously passed.

Sheila will be cremated and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cambridge Humane Society as her love for her cats was always known.

You Never Said Goodbye

You never said I'm leaving
You never said goodbye
You were gone before I knew it
And only God knew why

A million times I needed you
A million times I cried
If love alone could have saved you
You never would have died

In life I loved you dearly
In death I love you still
In my heart you hold a place
That no one can ever fill

It broke my heart to lose you
But you didn't go alone
For part of me went with you
The day God took you home

There are no words to express the sadness of the passing of your mother. I am here and will be there for you for the memorial. Take care of each other and know I am thinking of you often.

My loving sister, Sheila, you have been, and will forever be my soul sister, close confident and most of all most loving closest, dearest, best friend that I could ever ask for throughout my life. I will miss you my sister until we see each other again on that peaceful shore. I love you, and I miss you Sheila.

I was a neighbour of Sheila and Phil. I got to have lots of nice chats with the both of them over the years. They would share photos with me of my twinkling balcony lights in the winter and I would share photos with them of the ducks sitting on the roof of Phils van in the summer. Sheila told me many times how determined she was to become more strong and agile, so she could spend more time with her grandchildren. It's sad to see her gone, but I'm also happy she is back with Phil. <3
