Shirley Jane Jaques (née Fisher)

Passed away on May 4, 2019 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital.

Beloved mother of Sandra Cosgrove of Cambridge and Paul (Cheryl) Jaques of Vaughan, special grandma of Alex Cosgrove, Brandon Cosgrove and Teal-Rose Jaques. Sister of Doug Fisher. She is predeceased by her parents William and Sarah Fisher (née Steadman) of Wyoming, Ontario.

Shirley worked as a Registered Nurse for most of her career then retired to become a homemaker, helping to raise her two grandsons. She was also a proud member of the Patricia Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and of the Scarlett Ladies Chapter of The Red Hat Society.

We will miss Shirley so much, she took a little piece of our heart with her. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this painful time.

It was an honour and a pleasure to have known this wonderful lady who was a big part of our extended family. I will always remember her and cherish her generous and loving spirit.

Shirley was a wonderful red hat lady.
We often had chats at events, and we spoke about Wyoming,Petrolia and people we both knew in this area. Shirley attended our Red Hat event at Oil Springs Golf course.
