Stuart was born in 1930 in Baden, Ontario. Shortly after his birth, he tragically lost his parents James and Alice Snowdon. He was then raised by his Aunt and Uncle Jim and Ethel Saunders, as one of their own. He inherited two brothers Gordon (June) Saunders (predeceased) and Harold (Joyce) Saunders (predeceased). He also had two sisters Molly (Mickey) Quinlan (predeceased) and Betsy (Dave) Dixon.
Stu met the love of his life, Evelyn Bryans, at a dance where she danced her way into his heart, resulting in a loving marriage for almost 70 years. Raising three children Brian (Heather) Snowdon, Patricia Snowdon and James (Rose) Snowdon. He was a proud Grandfather of Derek (Valerie), Brianna (Jamie), Justin and Daniel. Daniel, who was called home before his time, was there to let Poppa know “IT’S OKAY, POPPA.” Stuart was also blessed with five Greatgrandchildren, Paige Snowdon, Noah Snowdon, James Snowdon, Makenzie Jesso and Olivia Jesso.
This very proud and complex man was a great provider, who gave unselfishly, and loved his family deeply, although his Coach (motorhome) ran a close second. Whenever Stu and Ev (Teddy) packed up the Coach and were on the road again, it didn’t matter where they went, it was paradise.
Stuart James Snowdon, you are missed so much.
