One of our bright lights will no longer walk amongst us but is instead beside us all.
It is with the most absolute heartbreak that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Ty at the young age of 27 due to a head injury. He was a son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle, best friend, best bud, teammate and a hero to his family and strangers.
Ty was the definition of beautiful chaos. He was the kindest soul with a true heart that craved laughter and happiness, if there was none, he was going to create it. It this past week we have discovered how many lives he has touched and the beacon he was to many during their darkest times. He drew people to him like a magnet and could walk into a room full of strangers and leave with 50 new friends. He lived freely and by the beat of his own drum. Sometimes he left us all confused trying to understand this guy….but the truth is, he was the one that saw people and the world clearly and we were the ones that didn’t understand. He looked inside people and always located their good and from then on, that’s all he saw in you. He lived with zero judgement of another, hated no one, never held onto anger, saw the world through rose-coloured glasses and literally did not possess the ability to hold a grudge.
Our family is speechless, overwhelmed and so very thankful for the outpouring of love, stories, messages, and thoughtful gestures. We are truly blessed and cannot express the magnitude of how you have all aided our family in this healing process.
Even in death Ty continues in his quest and has brought an already extremely close family even closer. As his big sister stated “he has taught us to be a little kinder, love a little bit harder, stress a little less, hug so that someone really feels it, forgive freely and see the beauty in what we take for granted”.
Love you Uncle Ty, I am going to miss you. Can’t wait to see you one day in Heaven. Thank you for dancing with me.
