Barbara Grace Reid-Raw

1956 -  2025

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her husband Raymond, daughter Adrienne and her girlfriend Harmony, her son Brendon and his wife Abida at WRHN@midtown (Grand River Hospital) on Tuesday June 24, 2025 at the age of 68.

Barbara was born and raised in Montreal and moved to Waterloo to attend University. Upon graduation Barb accepted a job at Mutual Life (now Sun Life) in Waterloo where she met her future husband Raymond Raw. They were married in 1987.

Beloved wife and best friend of Raymond Raw. They were married for over 37 years.

Aunt to Kristen, Kelly, Lindsay, Jamie, Thomas, Cindy, and Robyn

Predeceased by her parents William and Maureen Reid (nee Caton) and brother Don.

In keeping with Barbara’s wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no memorial service. A private interment will be held in Williamsburg Cemetery, Kitchener.

Since Christmas, Barb has been attending a special cancer survivors fitness class offered at the University of Waterloo. Barb has often mentioned how wonderful a program this is and that in lieu of flowers she would appreciate donations to go to them to support their program.
