Bill (Alphues) Savidant

Bill (Alphues) Savidant (1944-2026) passed peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday June 23, 2026 at Hamilton General Hospital.

Billy is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marlene; his children Rocky, Ron (Monica) and Brian (Michelle); grandchildren Amanda (Errol), Ashley, Chantal (Steven), Kayla, Joshua, Courtney (Will), Matthew, Dylan, Drew; great grandchildren Harlan, Jaxson, Lilian, George, Seanna, Savanna, Hannah, Rachel, Elijah, Theo and Ella. Bill is also survived by his brother Wally (Bernadean) He was predeceased by his brother Bubsy (Donna).

Billy could always be found tinkering around; whether it be in the garage, in the garden or at the trailer. He was always busy doing something… unless NASCAR, Coronation Street, wrestling, Judge Judy or CH news was on the television.

He didn’t like big crowds but loved to have company. He loved to tease. If he could say something to make you blush, he would… and then ask why your face was so red. He loved his dogs, even though he cursed Marlene for bringing each of them home. He is going to be missed by everyone.

There will be a celebration of life for Bill at the hall in the park where him & Marlene reside on Sunday, June 28th from 1-4pm.
