Catherine Sannghan Findlay

1949– 2026

Passed away peacefully at Innisfree House Kitchener on Thursday April 30, 2026, at age 76 years.

Catherine (Stevenson) Findlay was born in Airdrie Scotland. She immigrated to Canada with her family in 1955. It was in Canada where she grew up close to family and friends. Catherine Findlay worked as a Medical Secretary. Once retired she lived her life for her family and friends.

Beloved wife of the late Samuel Findlay who passed in August 2024.  They were married for 57 years.

Loving mother of Scott Findlay and Lynn Tobin (David).

Cherished grandmother Aiden and Samantha Tobin and Fiona and Sean Findlay.  Dear sister of Sadie Aucoin, Elizabeth “Liz” Buchkowski and predeceased by her brother Alexander Stevenson. Dear sister in-law to Irene Leaper and loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Also predeceased by her parents; Alexander and Agnes Stevenson (nee Creighton).

Cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Innisfree House as expressions of sympathy.
