Deborah Anne Morelli

1956 – 2025

Deborah passed away peacefully at WRHN@Midtown in Kitchener on Wednesday July 9, 2025, at the age of 69.

Deb was a woman of immense heart and boundless dedication.

Deborah dedicated herself fully to helping others. She was a “professional mother” and covered all who knew her with a nurturing love that was undeniable. Her love and devotion extended first to her family, who were the light of her life.

Married for almost 39 years and together for over 42, Deborah was both a life partner and business partner to her beloved husband and best friend, Michael Morelli. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love and so so much laughter while also embarking on countless exciting business and personal endeavors. Side by side and seldom apart, they were always dreaming up the next big project they would embark upon. They were high school sweethearts, true soulmates, in every sense of the word and were driven by a shared passion for adventure and a desire to make their dreams a reality. Deborah always made it her goal to research and find a way to make everyone’s wishes a reality, never hesitating to make sacrifices to see the happiness of those around her.

She was a devoted and loving mother to; Rachael and Shannah, Joel and Rebecca, and was a nurturing foster mother to numerous children for more than a decade. She was a cherished grandmother to her grandchildren, Remy and Rhys, Scarlet, and Nina. She was a loving sister to Bill and Ken and was predeceased by her parents, William and Norma Quinlan. Her warmth and selflessness left a lasting impact on every life she touched.

A lover of life, Deborah had many creative passions that she explored with enthusiasm. She enjoyed photography, crafting, painting, soap and candle-making, gardening, and cooking — always bringing her unique touch and care to everything she created. Her inquisitive spirit and desire to learn were endless, as was her drive to give of herself.

Deborah’s legacy is one of unconditional love, resilience, and the determination to help others. She leaves behind a world that is better for having known her.

In keeping with Deborah’s wishes, she was cremated, and a ‘Celebration of Life’ will be held by the family at a future date for all who would like to attend.
