Gerry Anthony Kip

1970- 2026

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Gerry Anthony Kip on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at WRHN @ Chicopee, at the age of 56 years.

Born in Sturgeon Falls and raised in Kitchener–Waterloo, Gerry was the beloved son of Frances and Gerry Kip. He was a loving father to Nicole Kirkland, Garret Kip, and Ian Kip, and a proud father-in-law to William and Brooke. Gerry was also a cherished grandfather to Elena, Samuel, and Kole Kirkland. He will be deeply missed by his sister Anna Kip, his Aunt Ann, and many friends.

Gerry loved spending time fishing, taking road trips with friends, and most of all spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a kind and gentle soul whose warmth touched the hearts of many people he met throughout his life.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gerry’s memory to Pancreatic Cancer Canada.⁠
