Gordon George Benner

1950 - 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Gordon G.  Benner on Sunday September 14, 2025 at the age of 75.  Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, completed most of his education at Parkdale Collegiate Institute, where he went on to work in big corporations as a purchasing manager.  Gord had a loving nature to everyone he had met and especially to his beloved family, and a sense of humor that he will be remembered and missed the most by so many.

Beloved husband and best friend of Jacquelyn Benner.  They would have celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on September 28, 2025.

Loving and cherished father of David Benner (Jean) of Brampton and Cindy Benner (Greg) of Kitchener

He was the proud grandfather to one grandchild, Emma Marie Benner and fur grandpa to Chloe and Benny.

Dear brother of Evelyn Stevens, and uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents; George and Eugenia Benner and by two sisters, Joan (Ron) Morrison and Carol Benner.

Cremation will take place. A Celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation as expressions of sympathy.
