Jaimee Nicole Bell

February 16, 2026 — It is with immeasurable love and profound sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Jaimee Nicole Bell. Born on February 15, 1992, in Stratford, Ontario, Canada, Jaimee left this world just one day after her 34th birthday in Antwerp, Belgium.

Jaimee was a devoted mother and gifted author who saw the world as expansive, beautifully imperfect, and alive with possibility.

Her greatest joy and proudest role was being a Mom to her beloved son, Lukas (age 9), whom she shared with Kevin Conderaerts. In Lukas' bright spirit and unrivalled joy, we see a reflection of Jaimee's deep and unwavering love for him. Together, Jaimee and Kevin built a life in Belgium, anchored in love and friendship.

Proudly rooted in Canada, Jaimee held both wanderlust and the comfort of home in equal measure. A beautiful mixture of spontaneity and steadfast rhythm, she embraced life as a story unfolding — one she met with curiosity, courage, and passion.

Jaimee was predeceased by her father, Bruce Bell; cousins Steve Baechler and Joey Erb; and grandparents, Jerome Dietrich and William and Emmalene Bell.

She leaves behind her cherished son, Lukas, and his father, Kevin; her loving mother, Sandy Dietrich-Bell; her grandmother, Mary Horst; her siblings, Logan Bell (Brooklyn), Madison Bell (Taylor), Justin Bell, Chris Bell (Kait), Jillian Roth (Jeremy), and Shannon Bell Hurd (Jason). Jaimee's beloved nieces and nephews, Wyatt, Jake, Owen, Easton, Danica, Locklynn, Seegan, and Evangeline, were bright characters in the story of her life. Jaimee relished being part of a large family and treasured visits with her many aunts and uncles.

She will also be deeply missed by her extended Belgian family, including Kevin’s parents, Willy Conderaerts and Marina Wils, along with their families, who embraced her with open arms.

From the Great Lakes of Canada to the quiet streets of Belgium, Jaimee walked this earth with her heart on her sleeve — loving deeply, feeling fully, and holding tightly to those who mattered most. The cast of characters in her story stretched from the rolling hills of Scotland to the sunlit shores of Australia. With each chapter, her mission remained the same: to boldly and unapologetically endure.

Jaimee embodied love, embraced joyful competition, celebrated milestones both big and small, and reminded others to do the same. Her spark was dynamic and radiant, illuminating the lives of those around her. Moving forward, we honour Jaimee with every brave moment of “yes.” Yes to the trip across the world or the adventure just down the street, yes to gathering with friends and the comfort of home, yes to the story still waiting to be written.

Jaimee built a life that transcended borders, carrying two homes in her heart along the way — Canada and Belgium. The following services will be held in her honour...

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Stratford Perth Humane Society (where Jaimee completed a high school co-op position and found her infamous feline companion, Tessa). https://kwsphumane.ca/
