Louise Walker

1950 – 2025

Louise Walker passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 18th, 2025 at WRHN ( Queens Blvd) at the age of 75, surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her husband, Brian Walker with whom she would of celebrated 52 years of marriage this month. She is also survived by her daughters; Valerie ( Roy) and Colleen; by her father, Keith Wilson; her sisters Linda Gaatch ( Jerry) , Joanne Litt ( Andy) and Christine Koch ( Jeff), and by many niece and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Helen Wilson.

Louise spent much of her career focused on smoking - cessation and public-health policy, including working with Ontario - based professional associations and research institutions. She was also a talented musician and active member of the local music community in Kitchener-Waterloo.

Cremation has taken place.  A private family interment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of choice as expressions of sympathy.
