Pauline was born in 1948, in Powassan Ontario. Pauline and Ron married in 1977 and raised their family in Kitchener-Waterloo. Pauline’s main priority was her family for which she sacrificed and dedicated her time, ensuring a close bond which is still going strong. This included family vacations, days at the backyard swimming pool and driving her kids around to various places and activities. Pauline enjoyed the simple things in life like a good family get together, board games or a trip to the thrift shop. During her retirement she devoted herself to supporting her grandson, Daniel. More recently, she enjoyed family visits at the cottage where she made many warm summer memories.
Pauline and Ron were longtime parishioners of Saint Agnes Catholic Church in Waterloo. Pauline was also a lifelong member of the Catholic Women’s League of Canada where she gave her time with the bereavement group. She was a faith filled, practicing Roman Catholic her entire life.
The family would like to thank the nursing team and Dr. Kozij and the palliative care doctors of the 6th Floor Chest Unit of the Waterloo Regional Health Network (formerly St. Mary’s Hospital), for their compassionate care of Pauline in her final days.
There will be a Parish Prayer Vigil on Friday May 16th at 6PM at Saint Agnes Church. The Memorial Mass of the Resurrection will take place on Saturday May 17th at 11AM at Saint Agnes Church in Waterloo. Interment at Parkview Cemetery following Mass. You are also invited to a luncheon in the Parish Hall.
In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations made in Pauline’s memory to St. Agnes Catholic Church Building Fund, or a charity of your choice.
