Reginald Anderson

1940 - 2026

Passed away peacefully on July 30,2026 in his 87th year in Cambridge. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A family service will be held at a later date in Edmonton, AB, where he will be interred with his parents.

Reginald was a loving father to Debbie (Blair), Don (Cynthia), Laura (Mike), and Peder (Josey). He was a proud grandfather to Winnie (Cory), Ajay (Nadine), Dylan, Thomas, Brock, Sabrina (Jake), Sierra, Noelle and Nash, and a proud great‑grandfather to Everette, Griffen, Jensen, and Kingsleigh. He will also be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his sister Mavis and her husband Gerry. Reginald was predeceased by his parents Peder and Olga; his sister Marlene; his brothers Roy and Ervin; his brothers‑in‑law Gordon and Richard; and his sister‑in‑law Norma.

For nearly 50 years, Reginald called Shelburne home. He formed many friendships and enjoyed countless good times as a long‑time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 220. To many, he was known as “the Colonel” for his many years working at KFC. He cherished his trips to Myrtle Beach, his time spent golfing, and the many moments shared with family and friends.

In memory of Reg donations can be made to a Royal Canadian legion or the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
