Robert “Bob” Joseph Yemen

Passed away peacefully on July 18, 2025 at WHRN @ Chicopee (Freeport Hospital) at the age of 86. 

Cherished father of Kevin Yemen, Lisa Cook (Stan), Michelle Foley and Patricia Coppins (Richard). 

Proud grandfather of Jessica Heimbecker (Clayton), Micheal Cook, Matthew Foley and Rebecca Foley. Great grandpa to Eleanor Heimbecker. 

Predeceased by his beloved spouse Corrinne Yemen, his parents George and Clara Yemen, his brothers Jack Yemen and Frank Stewart. 

Bob was a truck guy. He trained dogs in his early years before meeting his wife. He worked in the trucking industry most of his life. Whether you needed a part or a quick conversation he was your guy. Always had the part, a story or a smile. Many in the industry still are close connections. Bob worked until he was 73 at a local gas station just so he could stay social, active and part of the community. He made great friends in the owner and the people that stopped in. Later on in life he collected pocket watches and knives. His proudest moments and most cherished things were with his kids and then his grandchildren. Just recently he was able to meet his great granddaughter which made his life complete. 

As per Bob’s wishes, no funeral services or viewing will be held. Cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held. In lieu of flowers; donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and would be appreciated by the family.
