Robert (Bob) Wells

1956 – 2025

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Robert Wells on Tuesday, May 13th, 2025. Robert passed away peacefully at WRHN @ Queen’s Blvd (St. Mary’s Hospital) with family by his side. Robert was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend.

He was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Ina Wells. Loving brother to Denise Hay (Allan), uncle to his nieces Ashley (Jason) and Emily Hay, nephew to Jim and Sandra Wells, and dear friend of Benjamin and Crystal Grandmond. 

Robert was born in Scotland before moving to Canada at a young age, spending periods of his life in both Hamilton and Kitchener, Ontario. 

Robert had an infectious laugh, kind heart, and strong love for the Toronto Maple Leafs - he will be greatly missed. 

Roberts family would like to give special thanks to the staff at St. Mary’s Hospital for their compassionate care and to Benny for his ongoing care and friendship. 

Cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
