Roger Murawski

August 24, 1945- January 24, 2025 

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our father Roger Murawski on January 24, 2026, at the age of 80. 

Roger was a firefighter for 34 years on the Cambridge Fire Department, starting as a volunteer in 1971 and rising through the ranks to Captain before retiring in September 2005. 

He was a hardworking, genuine, caring man who enjoyed life on the farm and working outdoors. 

He will be dearly missed by his children Darren Murawski, Susan Janzen (Ivan), Teresa Visser (Rich) and his grandchildren Laura, Zachary, Justin and Dillan. 

Cremation will take place and a private family gathering to celebrate Roger's life will be held at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in his memory.
