Yvonne Mary Haney

1948 – 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce Yvonne passed away peacefully in Kitchener on  Saturday June 27h, 2026 at the age of 78 years. 

Born and raised in Fort William, Ontario, Yvonne was a dedicated and passionate nurse who specialized in elder care, giving comfort to many. From her Minnie Mouse collection to researching family war records, Yvonne showed that same passion in her many interests and hobbies.

Married for over 57 years, Yvonne was the beloved wife and best friend of William Haney. Together they could be found exploring Route 66, traveling Europe, and going to PT Cruiser events.

Loving mother to Michael (Natahsa) and Mark, Yvonne cherished being a grandmother to Michael’s children Stephanie, Jessica, Toby, Riley, and Jaxson.

Dear sister of Yvette and Ron, predeceased by her brother Joe and parents Abbe and Adeline.

One of “the girls”, with Millie, Sandra, and Elaine, whose friendship Yvonne valued deeply.

Cremation has taken place.
